Offering good value en suite rooms, this hotel with private car park is ideally situated adjacent to Southend seafront and the town centre.
Popular with pilots and cabin crew from nearby Southend Airport, all the rooms at the Ilfracombe House Hotel have 19 Sky/TV channels and a DVD player, a power shower, free wireless broadband internet and a mini fridge. There is now a full Sky Bar package in the bar/lounge area.
Guests can relax in the spacious and comfortable Chesterfield-style fireside lounge, study and luxury bar areas which are delicately lit throughout with crystal chandelier lighting. Hot and cold food is served daily between midday and 20:00 from the bar menu, or via room service. By Car:
Via the A13:
- Follow the signs towards Southend town centre.
- Once in Southend turn right at the Cricketers Inn Pub into Milton Road ending up in Cambridge Road.
- Take the 3rd right into Wilson Road, just before a mini roundabout.
Via the A127:
- Head towards Southend via Victoria Avenue then follow the signs for A13 London Road.
- Once on the A13, turn left at the Cricketers Inn Pub and follow the directions as above
